Cancel Silverado order?

      I ordered a 2024 Silverado LTZ back in October and It’s production date is this Monday. I however found a High country I wanted and bought that the other day. I contacted Chevy to cancel my order and they said its too far along in the process. But, I have no intention of purchasing my order when it is done. Anyone have experience with something like this? What is the process? Will they just put the truck on their lot? Will I be able to get my deposit back, or should I write that one off?
