I have a reservation for a Silverado EV, but I am in need to get a vehicle sooner. Can I use my reservation to negotiate with the dealership I reserved it with to reduce the price on the vehicle I’d like to purchase? They can have me sign that when my reservation is next in line, they will receive the vehicle on behalf of me. Not only will they get a sale, but also get a highly anticipated vehicle that they will likely sell for an absurd price over MSRP…and they already have an existing place in line. Thoughts?
