Just got a 2012 zl1. I think the exhaust to loud.
I think it’s suppose to be loud.
Its a vehicle for the track, not a run about… Should have just got an SS and called it a day…
If you don’t like it, I’ll take it.
Oh well …………. time to rid yourself of it.
Exhaust level inside car. my cts-v is good you kick it loud good sound..
found problem with exhaust bad clamp on ome side its ok !!!
@yabadabadoo the ZL1 is not a track car. It is more than capable of being a daily driver. The MRC suspension and big power make it perform amazing on the track, but it is also the MRC suspension that makes it a great road car. And for being a 580hp car, the LSA is docile on the street, too. It weighs 4100lbs, not really the idea of a track spec car.
@mooseknuckles Good point. It’s an awesome car that also happens to perform great on the track.
@julery Just curious — did you personally find the bad clamp or was it something that the dealer found?
I found it was racing engine exhaust pipe move . would open up at 2000 rpm and close
