Does anyone know why the C7 Z51 shudders and shakes making a tight turn at very low speed (like in a parking lot)? This not only occurs when the car/engine are cold and also when the car/engine is warm. Also, when backing down the driveway in the morning the car makes strange rumbling sounds coming from its differential and the front wheels bounce. Any help out there? Thanks.

Kraig, I don’t know how long you have driven your new C7, but I suggest your immediately check the lug nuts on all you wheels. What you describe is exactly what you would notice if you have loose lug nuts. IMPORTANT–Don’t drive it until you have checked them. If they are all tight, then by-all-means, get it back to a Dealer and have the problem checked.

it is the tires: they are very wide. I have a 2012 GS and they did the same thing..drove me nuts till I switched tires out for Michelins and then no more problems….it is normal for wide front tires from what dealers tell me

Thanks to all that posted with good info. Could it be a power steering pump issue? Thanks.
