ParticipantApologies if this is a duplicate, but my first post didn’t post. Is anyone getting their 2022 EV or EUV swap? Is anyone getting updates? Is anyone ready to give up and accept an ICE Blazer?

ModeratorI’m not sure I follow. Are you talking about MSRP swaps or battery swaps?

ParticipantNo – entire car swap. In fact, I just got word that the fully-loaded 2022 EUV Premier swap for my 2022 EV Premier was canceled, even though I ordered it in January and it was approved for production in March. Now, I have to pick an existing vehicle if the dealer will allow it, but the closest I can get is one with Sun and Sound, but not Super Cruise. I guess I should count my blessings, but I’m not going to count my chickens. I might have to settle for a Blazer or a Silverado and buy gas again. Yuk.

ParticipantTurns out that GM screwed me completely. No swap. No nothing and another year before I’ll get the new battery. I’m going to drive the Hell of this Bolt before I get another 8 year 100K battery. And this is the last GM I will ever own.

ParticipantGM CAME THROUGH!!! The GM rep’s assistant/co-worker/office mate/whatever found me a new host dealer and I’ve just been tagged for a “tagged” 2022 Bolt EUV Premier with Sun and Sound. Hopefully, the toughest part left is the 524-mile round trip, but there are several Electrify America charging stations between Houston and Dallas. Now, I’m back on for the Equinox EV RS…in CRAZY RED with CRAZY RED and black leather interior!!!

ParticipantUpdate: Local dealer who has been holding my $1,000 since January 20 on my original order, called me about a Launch Edition and promised (and I made him promise and promise and promise) to tag it for me. I let the GM rep know overnight and she called me in the morning and SHE promised to call me by the end of Friday after talking to the dealer. She never called back, the dealer didn’t return my voicemails or texts and someone in sales was very evasive…so with an hour to go before they closed, I made the 40 minute drive to confront them in person. YEP, they SOLD my car…but they marked a 2022 non-Launch Edition to go into production on June 27. I explained to them that 2022 production ended and 2023 production started on May 9. But they told me a fairy tale and now I have to wait until Monday to get back with my GM rep. This dealership is a lying POS.
