Bluetooth works one way

      Greetings,

      I have a 2012 Buick Verano and for some reason the Bluetooth and my Iphone are having issues. I can pair the Iphone and make outgoing calls with no problems with the dial a number or by the phone book. This tells me the Bluetooth is working. However when I receive an incoming call it rings in the car like it should and I press the button the steering wheel or the icon on the dash and it answers the incoming call but I have no audio. I look at the Iphone and it has defaulted to the iphone. I press for icon on the IPhone to select the Buick and then I can continue with my call. The dealer says I need to replace the radio but I can not understand how the bluetooth can only work part of the way. Can anyone please explain this?
