My bluetooth stopped working on my iphone 5s in my 2014 Buick Encore. I got the the suv back in May and the bluetooth worked fine, but now it isn’t working. I was wondering how I could fix the problem.

What doesn’t work specifically?
Have you tried unpairing and repairing the phone from/to the vehicle? If that doesn’t work, I’d recommend doing a system reset and pairing the phone anew. It doesn’t happen often, but these high-tech vehicles can get a little glitchy from time to time.

Hello, I am now having the same problem. Last week I was able to listen to my podcast through the USB just fine. Now all it is doing is charging my phone; it is not even showing USB as a lighted option on my infotainment screen. I have a 2014 encore, and a iPhone 5s.

I also have a 2014 Buick Encore. My bluetooth was connected and working well. One day I was a passenger in my car and the phone rang. When I answered it with the actual phone it displayed a message asking if this was a private call. I answers yes. Now I cannot connect to bluetooth even when I reboot my phone. How can I fix this!

With Buick’s IntelliLink system iPhones will drop off the Bluetooth system. Please unpair the IPhone with the radio and delete the radio as a saved device on the iPhone. Re-pair the iPhone with the radio and it will work again. This is a known problem with Apple products and all Intellilink systems which is why the newest systems have Apple Carplay.

@soniav and @jencore Folks, follow what @dan@haggertybuickgmc said:
1. Unpair your device from IntelliLink (this is done in the IntelliLink system)
2. Remove the IntelliLink system from the paired/saved/my Bluetooth devices on your device
3. Repair the two and all should be fine@hismajestydavid your issue sounds more like a USB issue. My recommendations would be:
1. Try a new USB cable (preferable one from Apple if you are using an Apple device)
2. If #1 doesn’t work, try resetting your IntelliLink system from the Settings menu -

I had the same issue last night and couldn’t figure out what was going on. (I have an ANDROID phone and not an apple.) We just bought our 2014 Buick Encore used a week ago, and when I turned it on last night, it wouldn’t connect to my phone. We stayed in the car for thirty minutes to try and reconnect it all. Unfortunately, I didn’t Google and find this forum with the answers until this morning, so we did not turn off the car while trying. When I paired it this morning before driving, it connected and worked fine on the way to work. I’m glad that I found this forum. Next time I’ll turn off my motor for a few minutes to let the computer reboot. It was frustrating last night. We thought that our new-used car had a problem. So good to know that it doesn’t and we can continue loving it!
