So I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 5.3L LT. When im at an idle its a little rough (not a misfire) but as soon as i put the pedal down it has zero power. i used to be able to burn the tires off this truck back in my more careless days. The check engine light flashes for a few minutes then shuts off. No hard codes set and all i have pop up on my code reader is random misfire. I have changed plugs, wires, coils, injectors, and tested my fuel pump pressure. talking to one of my uncles that runs his own shop i may have a bent valve. Has anyone else had similar issues with the 5.3? Im not sure what my next step would be from here.
