Gentlemen, how is this even possible? I had a ‘23, HD built and delivered, a day shy of a month? Granted, it was ordered mid May, but ‘23 production started July 18th, it arrived at the dealer on the 17, Aug.

What are your dealers telling you? Hard to believe you have nothing definitive, as to transportation times, especially since they are already BUILT!

I checked with Chevrolet chat yesterday was told my truck has been moved to marion Ohio with no ETA. Didn’t give me an explanation on why it was transported to Ohio.

23Silverado, Consider yourself lucky. I ordered my ’23 HD around the same time and it hasn’t been picked up by the factory yet. Still sitting at 1100 Preliminary status.

My 1500 LTZ was built in May and still no truck and GM can’t provide me with an ETA. My dealer can’t even track it on vinview because it has not been shipped yet. Last thing I heard from GM is that my truck is sitting at a distribution center in Viborillas, Mexico.

My truck was delivered to the dealer on 8/22. 2022 1500 LTZ w/ 3.0

      Ordered 6/14
Accepted at the end of June
Early July it was given TPW of 7/25, built some time the next week (was delayed)
      Arrived at dealer on 8/22

According to chat it never got past 3800 and didn’t hit the dealer’s website until it was delivered. The last update on 8/15 with chat was that it was somewhere in Indiana waiting on a carrier with no ETA. The dealer even looked periodically and it kept saying In Transit with no ETA.

The only reason I can think of with getting it so quick was that it was build in Indiana plant and dealer is just north of Nashville, TN so it didn’t have to travel far.

I’m starting to sense a trend here. LTZs and High Country orders and being accepted by the factory and built (delivery is another issue). Seems that GM is putting all their component availability into building the higher trim levels. Now all the articles about MSRPs growing 8-10% in Q2 are beginning to make sense. I ordered my 2500 LT Duramax in May and it’s still sitting at 1100 status. Convenience II and Leather packages on “Late Availability”? Both are in the standard feature set for LTZ and above, so why won’t they accept my LT order? GM may be successful at using constraints to push some of their customers into more expensive vehicles, but I’m not going to spend an additional $6K for features I don’t need. Is anybody else seeing this happen?

Colorado chevy guy I ordered a LTZ in April was built June 1st and I still don’t have a ETA so i don’t think that’s the case. My truck is sitting in marion Ohio, why I don’t know

Well you must be pretty lucky if your truck came from Indiana because mine was supposed to come from Indiana and like I said before it’s been 4 months so congratulations somebody got a vehicle

Treavus, exactly the point to my post. At least your order on a “LTZ” was accepted by the factory and built. I ordered a “LT” and the factory still hasn’t accepted the order.

Mine was built June 1st. Last knew it was sitting in Ohio. Still have no idea if I will ever see it. I think a trucks built around July are getting pushed to the dealership fast. Crap part is that 2023’s start getting built next week.

On y’all’s trucks, what packages did you order? On my LTZ the only additional package I ordered was the Z71 package. Other than that it’s a stock LTZ with LM2.

No sunroof, no rear sliding window or any additional convenience or technology packages.

I’m wondering if the trucks ordered with additional technology packages are the ones delayed.

All I added to my 1500 was duel climate and 20 in tires .my dealer informed me after 4 months that I lost $2,000 depreciation in my trade in ,thank you Chevy and there was a truck that matched mine but was a few dollars more and they never called me .the salesman is just not doing his job. The dealership only cares about selling you what they have right now.this is just bad business

I didn’t get the headsup display, rear view camera mirror, 4×4, multi tailgate, running boards, Z71 package just base LTZ with sunroof

My LTZ 1500 crew cab does not have the Z71 package nor a sunroof; however, it has the technology package, convenience package 1 & 2, LTZ plus package, safety package, spray on liner, chrome steps, multi-flex tailgate, underseat storage, tonneau tri-fold soft cover, and the standard size bed (6.6 ft).

I wish I had gotten the Z71 package as I was not aware that the hill descent option is only available with it. now I will be driving a loaded truck with a fake button on the dash.

Good morning everybody well after 4 months of waiting and b******* from my dealer I gave up and bought a truck exactly what I wanted but in silver on the lot at a dealership so obviously if you ordered your truck early it’s still sitting there while they put out trucks for the dealers so my suggestion is stop waiting and start searching sleepless nights are over aggravation

Sideshowbob how much more did u have to pay for the truck that was not the color u wanted? I don’t want to pay 7k more for a truck loaded with options I don’t want in a color I don’t want. I would rather wait besides I don’t need a new truck, I want a new truck

It cost me $1,000 more to get the truck and a different color without ordering it with the exact same options I wanted but I also lost two grand and trade-in value because I waited good luck with finding a new vehicle
