2013 Chevy Equinox “MyLink” will not answer Bluetooth phone call by voice commands like “answer” or “decline.” We must tap the visual command for “answer” or “decline” to complete the call process. The phone is “paired” and recognized, but this function seems to be not working?
Hi jdoyle19, I’m not sure if the Mylink will answer bluetooth phone call by the voice commands I think you technically have to press the buttons but I’m not sure if it actually does that. Have you check the owners manual?
@jdoyle I don’t think that’s supposed to work that way.
To answer, press the “accept” (or voice command) button on the steering wheel. Do decline, press the other end of the same button (with the arrow through the phone icon).
I’m not even sure that the functionality you’re attempting to achieve is necessary, as it adds another step (voice command) to what is accomplished with a simple button press.
That’s what I thought too Alex because my 2012 Terrain I actually have to press it but I thought it might be different with Mylink/Intellilink compare to the regular system.
Right. The model year shouldn’t matter, and nor should the difference between MyLink and IntelliLink — as the two are practically identical.
no i meant the two systems compare to the regular color touch screen system
Oh I see; then yes.
