I have GM’s 3.9L 3900 V6 SFI engine in my 2007 Buick Terraza CXL Van. The last time I had my van in for an oil change at Valvoline they messed up getting my Air Filter installed right I have been driving around for 16,000 mi before I went to install a new one and saw this. I would say it has been getting 30% to 35% UN filter air. What kind of damage would this have done to the Van engine?
Thanks, H GM Spring
No idea , but not good . Do you live in a sandy environment , like I do . Do you drive down dirt roads ?
Do you change oil frequently ?
I would change oil / filter immediately . And pray for the best .
No way to put the tooth paste back in the tube .
God bless
