I am looking to buy a new 2020 Acadia Denali.
I have a 2017 Acadia Denali which has “Adaptive Cruise Control” per window MSRP sticker.
I’m noticing the MSRP window stickers on new 2020 Acadia Denali’s most of the time don’t say “Adaptive Cruise Control” now. The stickers now say / list, “Following Distance Indicator”.
Is “Following Distance Indicator” same as “Adaptive Cruise Control”?
Does Following Distance Indicator function the same as Adaptive Cruise Control, i.e. = Set the speed and car maintains the speed set or slows to match the car speed ahead, at the selected distance (~short, medium and far) or if going downhill it will brake if necessary to not go over the selected set speed?
