Home › Forum › Chevrolet › 89 S10 Tahoe 4wd – Trouble replacing front passenger wheel studs/lug nut bolts

Alright. I have a 1989 Chevy S10 pickup, 4wd. Through misadventure and idiocy, I have snapped off all 5 wheel studs/lug nut bolts on the front passenger side. I have managed to get as far as removing the axle nut. However, the ring that the wheel studs are mounted into, will not come off. I don’t have access to a Chilton’s Manual, I was barely able to afford the replacement studs and the 36mm deep socket, and I am dreading having to replace the wheel bearings as well. What do I need to know in regards to removing this ring, so I can replace the broken stubs and get this truck back on the road? I can go and take pictures if necessary.
