I’m considering a new 6.2L Sierra (probably Denali) and would appreciate feedback from anyone who has added long tube headers and 3” cat back exhaust to a similar truck. Is the cabin noise still low enough to have conversations at highway speeds? I’ve listened to most of the manufacturers’ sound demos online but they are all about the exterior sound. I’d like the cabin to be quiet while idling and highway driving while enjoying the sound under acceleration. (Yes, I understand the contradiction in quiet Denali versus headers/exhaust but the heart wants what the heart wants.).
Oh, and it’s all about improving gas mileage (wink, wink).
Thanks in advance!
