I have a 2016 GMC Canyon with the 3.6L V-6 engine. The owner’s manual recommends to change the engine air filter at 45,000 miles.
Wow! That seem a bit extreme. Usually 12,000 td 24,000 miles is the rule of thumb. Are these specially treated filters or what?
Any thoughts about this?
