Just curious, Has anyone who changed their order who ordered a 2022 and had to switch to a 2023 model year received their truck and actually got the $3000 offer? Today is January 2nd, and the offer expires tomorrow. My truck is still in Mexico “Waiting for Shipping” and has been there in this status since October.

Tony,
Similar situation has happened to me. I have had a deposit at my dealer since the first week in May. GM couldn’t build my initial order and sent the private offer code. My dealer placed a similar order for a 2022 that was built weeks later assigned it to me. It has been sitting at the Ft. Wayne plant ever since, waiting on parts or a chip, and has shown “In transit” since mid October. I called Customer Care a month ago and have a case number, but the truck has still yet to ship. Called earlier this week (1/3) and was passed to their marketing team when I asked about the expiration date of the offer. The marketing rep told me to call back the next day as apparently they couldn’t do anything about an extension. I didn’t call back again, as there was no point imo until the truck ships (I’ve called Customer care several times asking for updates, etc., Tired of calling.). Still waiting patiently in limbo, but the frustration is certainly building now as the private code expired, not to mention the other incentives that have passed by, compounding that with rate hikes and lowering trade values.Luke

Good luck Tony. A similar thing happened to me, only my truck came in and the price increased $10,000 from my original order of a 2022. After waiting for my 2022 to come in and being told it was in process; I reordered it and finally got a 2023 13 months later!! I lost $4000 in rebates and the cost of the truck went of $6000, so it cost me an extra $10,000! GM Customer Service would do nothing for me. They don’t care about the customer at all. They blamed my dealer, who is my employer. It wasn’t the dealers fault when they ordered the 2023 they couldn’t tell them a price!! I’ve been dealing with Customer Service since it came in May, 2023, with no satisfaction at all. One person tells you one thing, another something different. I even wrote e mails and letters to Mary Barra and still got nowhere. This is the last GM vehicle I am buying. I currently own 7! I pre-traded my 2017 and put $36,000 down on my 2022 so for 13 months they had use of my $$. If I had none it was going to take 13 months I would have never done that! Good luck!
