2500HD Chip Retrofits

I’m in the same boat with my 2022 1500 LTZ delivered in January, no heated steering wheel, heated/cooled seats, and parking assist. Dealer says they have zero idea what’s going on! I received a letter back in Oct stating the retrofits should start end of November, didn’t sat what year! New trucks are currently being delivered with all options, just to rub it in.

Same thing with my 2022 Colorado LT.

They are doing retrofits at this time and I can’t understand why some dealers are giving you the run around. If you’d post the last 8 of your vin I’ll be glad to get the bulletin and part number for you

I have a 2022 refresh LTZ 1500 and mine is going in for “heated seats front and back” or “Front heated and cooled”. That is my option haha. Of course get the fronts going first but I’m missing heated steering wheel and parking assist as well as the heated back seats. What a mess…

Guys, I’ll take look on monday…

Parts Man 1 helped me out (On a different thread) on a truck purchased in February. I went to my dealer and told that I had information which I had printed off of this website that they could get the parts, they didn’t even ask to see them they just went ahead and looked up the information. they told me that they could not get the parts at that time. The service manager took me to his office and gave me a number to call and told me to give them hell as they will then contact him and ask him what is going on and why the customers are unhappy (Blaming them of course), his exact words were “You know what flows downhill! but this will give me the chance to make my case” The number is for customer service 800-462-8782. I called on Monday and again on Tuesday and made the case that it was BS that they put the chips in 2023s and leave us hanging. I told them I would call every day until I could speak to someone with more authority. It may be coincidence, but I got a call from my dealer yesterday, Thursday that they were able to order my parts now, hmmmm. We just have to hold their feet to the fire!

P.S. GM probably hates you

I had my heated and cooled fronts and heated rear seats installed today. Still waiting on heated steering wheel and parking sensors. Truck was purchased in April. It is a 1500, not sure that means anything.

I called GM customer service 800-462-8782, told them about my 1500 LTZ purchased in January 2022. They called dealer, dealer called me and now I’m getting Heated Front Seats and front camera recall only. No cooled seats, no heated steering wheel and no park assist. GM and dealer still have no idea when the rest of the retrofits will happen!

VINMAN62, yours is very easy, Bulletin number N212354522 and the part number you need for your dealer to order is 13535222.

Eagle Driver, there is a actual bulletin for a 2500 yet however is very clear in GM Company website global connect that your truck has a retrofit coming and the part number you need is 13526069.

Front ad Rear park assist will also start in Q1 of 2023

Cool seat blowers should available at this time..

Eagle Driver, here is the bulletin number from Global Connect N212354522 or they can go to the same website and put in your VIN go to vehicle build and it will tell them what retrofits are on your vehicle. Yes, the part number are vin-specific and are in the parts book…
