Please don’t input “because it will last longer” I only want to know the mechanical or regulatory reasons for the power differences on the Duramax.
2022 2500 Silverado 6.6
445 Horsepower
910 Torque
2022 5500 Silverado 6.6
350 Horsepower
700 torque
Not why but how.
Mechanical Components?
Programming only?
Where the power is measured?
CARB compliance?
Combination of any of the above?
No one?
