Leased a new 2025 Chevy Equinox Activ to replace a 2022 Chevy Equinox. Nice vehicle good ride. The problem is that there are no USB plug-ins in this vehicle. The only USB plug-in available works only with carplay. There is also a charging pad next to the driver’s seat. In the extreme rear of the vehicle is a cigarette lighter plug-in. So, I had to purchase an extension cord to make a USB plug-in available to the rear and front seat passengers. Why did Chevrolet do this?
Found two USB-C ports in the lowest part (almost on the floor) of the climate vents tower of the rear passenger seats.
Congrats on the new Equinox! It’s a bummer about the USB situation, though. It’s weird that they only have that one for CarPlay. An extension cord sounds like a good workaround!
