Bought 2024 Chevy Traverse Z71 2 two weeks ago. Bought it on Saturday, Took it back on Monday for water leak and check engine light. The dealer service department kept the vehicle for 4 days. They fixed the leak and determined the check engine light was from DTC P219A. Cleared the code. Picked up the vehicle on that Thursday drove it home. Check engine light came back on. Same DTC code of P219A and smell of fuel coming from the exhaust. Took the vehicle back to the dealership and it’s been there ever since. Apparently GM is aware of the code problem, but I am being told, they have no solution. So i am stuck with no vehicle. A brand new vehicle.
I had the same P219A code on my 24 traverse. Check engine light appeared the very next day we drove out of the lot, less than 59 miles. Right now it is a the dealer, apparently is harness or something.
Did you get the problem resolved?
Regards
Might have them check the o2 sensors. Running rich and that would be the cause of the smell
The report was the harness was not shielded and was receiving in noise from the O2 sensor. This is part of a service bulletin.
