My 2024 GMC Terrain Engine overheated in rush hour traffic within 30 min. of getting into it. It was ~98 Deg and stop and go traffic. Dumped the coolant just after the AC Compressor kicked off 5 minutes prior. Got off highway and shut car off. Talked to Onstar got it towed to dealer. All they did was add coolant and change the oil. Why did this happen. We are not will ing to even take it on trips now due uncertainty that it will leave us stranded once again. Anyone else having these issues?
Just a shot but I’d say a stuck thermostat but thats doubtful but maybe the cooling fan isnt working properly. Turn you ac on and when the compressor turns on the electric fan should turn on
