Why does Chevrolet still have constraints on the paint color Radiant Red Tint Coat and Sterling Grey on the 2024 2500HD? Would they even care if they lost customers ?
I havent heard of any constraints for paint colors. Where is your information coming from ? I was told today that allocations havent even been completed yet for Flint assy.
Sterling grey is no longer under constraints. I ordered one on this past Thursday. I had been trying for a grey since week one. As for red hair do not know.
I ordered a 2022 2500HD last March. I was told in June that it would have to be changed to a 2023. Then in October I was told it would have to be a 2024 but that they are dropping the greenstone color that I wanted. GM’s website list the 2024 color’s and I really don’t care for any of them. Basically black, white, silver (gray) just like 95 percent of every vehicle on the road. My dealer said that they are offering an Amber but they have no pictures or sample color to look at. Call me crazy but I ordered the Amber, it may come orange but at least it isn’t the same as every other vehicle on the road.
I believe it’s auburn metallic and there is a youtube video of a tahoe in that color. I placed an order Jan 19th and wanted the sterling grey and it wasn’t available at that time. I had a choice of red, white, or black.
For 2024 Sierra HD I am told White Frost, Redwood, Titanium Rush, Summit White, Onyx Black, Volcanic Red and Sterling are able to be ordered. Unfortunately I want Downpour Metallic (Blue). So I wait, and wait, and wait,
