ParticipantIs there a site with info to track the constraints on GMC vehicle builds? I ordered a 2023 Yukon XL Denali Ultimate with Super Cruise and the diesel engine a few weeks back. I am told the max trailer package is the only constraint by the dealer. I asked if we could leave it off for now and install after it becomes available at the dealer. I was told it comes as standard so we have to wait until all parts are available to build it. I also did a little web searching on the constraints of the build order and found a couple of weeks ago, it was reported Adaptive Cruise Control and the automated braking system were constrained but my dealer did not mention them yesterday after he said he just looked it up. I like to verify with my own eyes so if anyone knows a site where I can verify the build constraints, I’d be much obliged.

ParticipantSo I guess there is no site to monitor the constraints against certain builds or to find out what is constrained except to take my dealers word for it.

ParticipantI’m in the same boat – ordered a Yukon Denali with several add on packages and every couple months get updated that it’ll be more months. Last week the dealer told me if I remove xyz features I could have it by Christmas, but that means removing 2 packages and some independent features. I said I’d rather leave them in or may as well not go for the Denali and model down, but the response was I could expect the vehicle mid to late 2023 at this point!

ParticipantWebsite says my Yukon Denali Ultimate is in transit. Dealer says it is pending dispatch. It’s been like this for over a month and no one can tell us why there is no movement or updates to the dealer. This GMC delear is only 300 miles from the factory in Arlington, so it’s not like it had to be delivered across the US.

Participant“Pending dispatch”, that could be anywhere between the production line to loading on transport. GM loves to use this excuse so not to have to answer questions as to what a vehicle is missing and waiting for. Some constraints they will ship them others get parked until parts are available. I have seen guys trucks sit for many months with this excuse. Best of luck to you but don’t hold your breath. Until your dealer can pull your truck up on VIN view don’t take anything for granted.

ParticipantI ordered Yukon SLT Diesel in this Feb. In this August I was told that GM decided to cancel 2022 model and only accept order for 2023 model. So I updated the order this August. But still waiting. According to the feedback from dealer, the Diesel engine is currently a constraint and my order is only accepted. The rumor is there are only several of Diesel engine Yukon are built weekly.
