ParticipantGot the news a few days ago that our 2023 redline has been produced and ready to ship out. Anyone have any luck with shipping? Our dealer said it may take months still for that and didn’t provide any additional information. Just wondering how long people have waited once produced to when they actually got their vehicle. We’re only 6 hours away from where it was produced so hoping it doesn’t take months! 🤞

ParticipantYes, good luck. We’ve been waiting 3 months for our Yukon that was produced in early June, no word as to when it will ship.

ParticipantMy Traverse was shipped on 8/31 from Lansing. It only needs to go from there to Sterling Heights or a couple of hours. I find it unacceptable that there is no way to accurately track where it is from plant to dealer. I am beyond frustrated!

ParticipantWe’ve been waiting 11 weeks for it to get transported. It’s been almost 22 weeks since we ordered our Traverse and it only needs to come two hours south to NW Ohio. I’ve had enough of the run around and no one knowing why transport hasn’t been scheduled even though it was released to dispatch on 8/22.

ParticipantMine says “In Transit” as well. It actually still has parts missing. Go to Chevy.com and start a chat to get an actual advisor not the automated one. They can give you a little bit more info. They will probably say semiconductor shortage with no time table. They will say something like GM is continuously looking at priorities. This means your vehicle is not a full size truck or SUV. We don’t make as much money on you so you can go to the back of the line. I am sick of it!!!

ParticipantKdahl1214 how is it that yours was built what 8/28? Mine was built 8/3 and you already have yours? It’s a 2 hour and 2 minute drive from Lansing to my dealership!!!! How did your vehicle get parts before mine? Something is being mismanaged badly by GM.

ParticipantI was able to do some digging and found out mine for some reason was shipped to Pontiac. They are now telling me they are shipping it back to Lansing and then shipping to Dealer in Sterling Heights. No explanation at all.

ParticipantThe GM executive resolutions liaison has been calling me twice a week since the last Friday of August and it’s pretty much worthless. Supposedly she has escalated it within her office twice now and she still just blows smoke up my ass. And they are at the mercy of Jack Cooper transport but I got ahold of that company and they don’t even have info on my vehicle

Participant@dbkiessling, so I actually ordered a 2022 but it got switched to a 2023 when the orders for them opened up. Also I got a 2023 redline… I’ve heard rumors that they were pushing out those and midnight editions before others. So that couldve played a factor as well.. a few things too to add in that the right tail light was busted during transport so I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for a replacement. On top of that… my vehicle is now throwing codes for park assist, engine and transmission, airbags, anti lock braking system, emissions system and lastly stability track……. So I wouldn’t be to pissed off that I received mine before yours. 😒🤬

ParticipantWe ordered our 2022 on May 12 switched to a 2023 2nd to last week of May TPW 7/25 built 8/3. They’ve had over two months to fix issues if there are any and if a car that was built AFTER others who ordered before you and you get yours before us is still not right even if you are having issues. They need to complete and ship vehicles in order of when ordered/completed. I’m still paying a pretty penny for mine.

Participant@dbkiessling As previously stated before I ordered a 2022. To clarify it and make it crystal clear, I ordered that 2022 in Decmeber of 2021. It got switched to a 2023 when the orders opened up. I’ll do the math for you…. that’s 11 months. If I’m not mistaken that’s almost a damn year I’ve waited for a traverse. LOL. Where did you get the date 8/28 for it being produced? I got the news from my dealer probably around that time, but it was produced before hand. So no your comment is not justified. Mine should’ve been made a hell of a lot sooner. In fact I should I have a 2022 not a screwed up 2023, that I paid a hell of a lot of pretty pennies for. Hope that cleared up some of your animosity. Good luck on your issues.

ParticipantSo what date did your 2023 get built? Was it before 8/3? I get your 2022 you ordered in 2021 didn’t get built, but if your 2023 was built after 8/3 then no you shouldn’t get yours before those built before yours. Your post is confusing because you say on 9/2 that you got sued a few days ago that your traverse was built… I knew on 8/5 that my car was built 8/3. So what date was your car built. If it was built before 8/3 then by all means it should’ve gotten to you before mine. But if your vehicle was built after 8/3 then no you shouldn’t have gotten before anyone that was built before yours.

ParticipantI ordered my traverse in March 2022, it was built in July 2022, and apparently is still waiting on a hood insulator. The dealership is not helpful at all neither is GM. I am shocked that one actually shipped though. Where are you getting the details kdahl1214?
