Just picked up this 2023 GMC 3500 in the color GB8 Ebony Twilight Metallic, Paid a premium for the color, The issue is the paint job is poor to say the least. There is primer showing through in many different places. The drivers side rear fender looks like the paint gun gummed up and it sprayed blotches. The film build seems thin and I am not sure if the film build would pass the pencil hardness test. The truck cost was > $110 k. CAD, you would think that the QC system in the assembly line would have caught this before it left the plant. Waited 18 months for delivery and never got to see the truck before it was delivered to the dealer. Anyone at GMC Quality that I could discuss this with?
