Has anyone installed a AutoStop Eliminator on the 2023 GMC Canyon Denali? If so, do you have available installation instructions or maybe a YouTube video?

I should add that I contacted Autostop Eliminator and they have yet to install/test on a 2023 GMC Canyon Denali. Here is their reply:

We do not currently offer a device for the Canyon. New products depend on the vehicles people bring us.

We could work with you to make a device if you want to bring the vehicle to Fairmont, WV. We’d do it for free and pay you $300 for your time/expense because we could then offer the device for sale to others. We don’t need to drive your vehicle. It usually takes about 8 hours to put together a prototype and test it. We do this over a 2-day period, usually noon – 5pm one day and 9am-noon the next. This gives us overnight to verify the vehicle sleeps correctly. We can provide transportation to/from a hotel, as needed. Let me know if you’re interested.

Or, some vehicles have come to us because someone posted on forums/Facebook/social media and found someone with the same vehicle closer to us and they brought the vehicle to us. Just throwing that out in case you participate in the forums and can help us and help yourself get the device sooner by getting someone to bring us a vehicle. Otherwise, I’ll let you know if/when a device is made available.

Its been a while since I’ve a Canyon but if remember and I’ll double check on monday but instead of putting your shifter in D you put it in L and on top of the shifter you push the plus till the you reach the highest number. This will turn off auto stop, Keep in mind that you have to do this every time you start your Canyon. Small price to pay to not have auto stop..

Hawg, I checked today and the button is on the left side of the shifter knob, pull it down to L and your dash will show L1, push the the button till it shows L8 and drive without auto stop. You have to do this every time you start your truck but it becomes 2nd nature.
