Does anyone else have a slight engine miss with your 2023 GMC 1500 refreshed? No check engine light, but i can feel it most of the time but not all of the time.
Welcome to the wonderful world of DFM issues. Dynamic Fuel Management uses valve lifters to disable 4 cylinders in certain situations. I experienced rough performance, engine miss firing, and rough idle. On my 2020 6.2L one lifter failed at 8,800 miles. The result was a bent pushrod and the lifters on that bank were replaced with a new, more robust design. At 33,000 miles, a more dramatic failure that resulted in the lifters on the other bank all being replaced.
You might want to search “GM DFM Issues” to determine if what you are experiencing aligns with DFM lifter failure.
Do you know when it was built?
