Returned to gm as a customer after 20 years. Leased a new 2022 to rs in October 2021. At 35,850 miles, observed shift to park issue. Brought to dealer and it was not showing this issue but the deal told me it is noted and they will work with me if it happens again past 36k miles. We’ll, with 38000 miles, getting original p to s again. This is a known issue for gm going back a few years. This is a SAFETY ISSUE. Now I have to pay to get it fixed when gm doesn’t know how to fix it? What are my options? It’s my wife’s car and she is disabled and needs this resolved. It’s a lease with 14 more months to go. Please advise. Thank you.
I have a 2022 Travers that does it, I know family members having the same problem. GM knows it’s a problem which ironically fails when warranty is up costing hundreds of dollars. I probably wont be buying another GM .
