Sound familiar??? Anybody else having infotainment issues with their 2022 Silverado?
I ordered my 2022 Silverado LTZ in December of 2021, however my order was held up by the refresh with the 2023 dashboard and grill. I received the truck at the end of March 2022 and within 1000 miles the trouble started. The Adaptive Cruise Control, the Crash Avoidance System and the Lane Assistance System all failed. I’ve been to the dealership four times and the third windshield camera is on order. Also since the delivery of the 2022 Silverado LTZ Z71, as I’m driving, to many times to count and each and every week the following things happen with NO DRIVER INPUT. The vehicle speed is in the center of the dashboard and it will change to ‘Tire Pressure Monitor’ with no tire pressure issues or it will change to “Transmission Temperature’ and it is well within limits or it will change to ‘Air Filter Percentage’ being in the 90% range or it will change to ‘Oil Life’ being a very high percentage. The other thing that happens often with no driver input, I listen to SXM Channel 61 and it will switch to another saved channel in the SXM or FM band.
I added a headache Back Rack, a UWS tool box and Ultra Lightz flashing lights and the service writer stated that the trouble is self inflicted. I have up-fitted police cars, fire vehicles and road department trucks for years and never had a problem.
I ended up contacting Dan Hermer VP of North America Chevy and now a Chevy engineer is going to look at the Silverado LTZ.
Has other refresh owners had similar trouble?
