Has anyone received notice yet regarding the 2022 Silverado 1500 transmission issues with the 10 speed locking up? I had read something awhile back about this but found nothing since. I have 30,000 miles on mine with no problems but plan to take lengthy trip soon and was curious if I should be concerned. My truck was built in Ft. Wayne but perhaps the issues are with trucks built elsewhere. Just curious.
We had a 21 GMC Yukon XL at4 with the 10 speed transmission and had no problems (absolutely loved it), We now have a 24 Silverado ltz and I have had no problem with 10 speed trans on it. The Radio however is another thing. Very disappointed in the Infotainment 3 system. Had it in the dealership 5 times for sound going out until truck is turned off, locked and sits for a while, (holding end call did not work for resetting while driving) 5th trip to dealer, they replaced amplifier (multiple service bullitens on radio), now it goes out for a second and comes back, multiple times, everytime I drive it regardless of the source, xm, radio or carplay (happens withing the first couple minutes numerous times) Also, speedlimit displays sometimes in dash and heads up and sometimes it doesn’t (for entire trip on the same routes). Majorly disappointed considering it had a 70K sticker on it.
