I’ve been waiting for months for heated seats in my 2022 Silverado…dealer has no info on when….any clues?
Seems odd. I thought they started the 1500s before the HD trucks, and my 2500 was done back in December.
Right. When i bought my truck last march, they told me aug/sept for the chip. I waited til dec….called dealer…no answer…finally got a hold of the salesman and he said he talked to the shop and i should be getting the letter in the mail that wk…..this was a month ago.
All dealers should have inventory of parts to complete the Heated Seats retrofit. There is one issue, lots(most) of people did not wait for their mailer(their turn in line) and just kept calling the dealer or going to the service department, getting sideways with service advisors, so dealers just started robbing Peters parts for Pauls truck, welllllll when peter got his mailer and went to the dealer like the process works, no parts for Peters truck.
Your dealer cannot do the upgrade without a letter unless its in your VSS in Global Connect. Some of the module are now on back order due to supply chain problems..
