I bought a 2022 Colorado back in January, brand new. Since March it’s had an issue where the first 1-2 and 3-1 shift every morning kicked super hard. After 4 appointments that all ended in “we couldn’t reproduce the problem,” today they reset the learning on the transmission. Document No. 4366757.
When I left the dealership, the transmission banged when downshifting to stop a couple of times. It stopped after the second occurrence, so I drove around town for a bit and now every single gear is shifting in and out at weird times, changing gears on flat roads at a constant speed, up and then right back down, and trying to grab 3 or 4 times before finally shifting.
Is this normal? How long before it stops?
I’ve been having nothing but weird problems with this truck since I bought it and it has me really bummed out. My 4-owner 07 Ion had fewer issues…
