My 2021 GMC Yukon Denali started chirping around 73k miles. The chirping only occurred around 1700-3000 rpm in gear. I narrowed the chirping to be on the driver side engine compartment. Unable to sort this out or find anything online that closely resembles this I took it to my local dealership where they worked on it over two days and finally associated my noise to one they has a while back on a diesel where there was an exhaust leak. Further investigation led them to remove the driver front tire and inner wheel well where they immediately saw soot around the exhaust manifold. The back two bolts were loose. The tech tightened them up and chirping was gone. In the end they replaced the exhaust gasket and associated bolts. 60 miles later no chirping.
