I have been reading a lot about the class action suit that has been settled but I was never informed that it was happening. I just recently went through having a lifter failure on my 2021 GMC sierra 1500 6.2 where the truck was misfiring, engine light, service esc, service parking brake, and reduced steering assistance. The dealer replaced the lifters in bank 1 and said that everything was okay but I am not confident in what they say because of a previous issue with them. Besides the previous issue I have been reading that the lifters were defective so why not change them all? Am I entitled to this class action? What should I do?

Chevy Silverado 1500 owner, too.
Picking our 2017 up today. Only
has 65,700 miles on it. They did
our right bank, too. Truck has been in the shop
for 4 weeks.
They wanted to do the left bank….but actually
nothing wrong at the moment with it…BUT
they said something could happen with the
lifters.
THEY KNOW THEY HAVE AN ISSUE AND THEY
(GM) DO NOT WANT TO HELP.
SELLING OUR TRUCK AND NEVER WILL BUY

I had the same thing happen, first at 8,000 miles and last summer at 33,000 miles. All of my lifters have now been replaced. No problem since then.
I was not aware of a class action lawsuit. -
