ParticipantI’m sure this has been posted especially on earlier models. But i have a 2020 with 5.3 8 speed and having shudder at low speeds. The dealer is saying they looked at what GM recommends but can’t find anything and now saying they are classifying it as normal behavior. I’m at a total loss hear.

ParticipantI have a 2017 Silverado LTZ, 6.2 Engine, 8 Speed, 4 door, 4WD and since I got it have had shudder, slams into gear, etc. We are snowbirds from Canada, travel 2100 miles to Florida and back and both Chevy dealers here and in Sebring Florida fluff you off saying its natural, no trouble found or cannot replicate the trouble..
Had a far better truck before had a diesel and a real transmission ie the Allison Tranny without doubt the best tranny in use in any vehicle.
Its a game they play and they are good at it both the dealers and the manufacturers.
Anyway I really wish you good luck, I gave up…..until its trading time…..there will be a different manufacturer’s vehicle in my driveway….this vehicles full price was $65,000 cad, I didnt pay that but paid way too much for this vehicle…..and its faulty Tranny. -

ParticipantHave dealer let you and service manager take a ride in an identically equipped and same year truck. If it has the same shifting particulars it’s probably normal. If it does not act like yours contact Chevy customer service from the service managers phone at the dealership. Also state you want a gm engineer contacted as well as the dealers chevy service contact notified. Worked for me several years ago. GOOD LUCK.
Ps Stay civil and keep a log of everything, conversations phone calls, service department repair orders and when or where the problem occurs. -

ParticipantI liked the Chevrolet car brand for a long time and I was a direct fan of the old Camaro model, I finally saved up the amount of money I needed to fulfill my dream and drive the Chevrolet 1993 Camaro, for me this is a very serious purchase and I always take responsibility. I studied the user manual http://chevrolet.manymanuals.com/cars/1993-camaro/owners-manual-6144 and realized that I need to study a lot of information before buying and the main thing is not to rush
