My Escalade has approximately 7000 miles. The odd electrical problems cannot be duplicated in the shop and are intermittent. When I try to open the driver’s door by depressing the button on the door handle, sometimes it will not open and I have to use the passenger door on the driver’s side to unlock. Sometimes, that door has the same problem.
When driving the car, sometimes the radio will not allow me to change the station or the volume. If I stop and turn off the vehicle sometimes that fixes the problem. Sometimes I need to let it sit for awhile and then the problem goes away.
There is also an intermittent grinding sound from the steering wheel column. It’s very faint and like the aforementioned problems cannot be reproduced. I had it in the shop and it was there for 3 days. They could not find anything I had pointed out.
