My Forward Collision Alert warning system has set a yellow light on the cluster saying that system is not available. Same when I push the switch/button below the head unit. Dealer scanned it, says it shows no codes and that it was probably a sensor. They were busy and I said I’d bring it back at some point… but have not.
Anyone else had this issue?
Thanks in advance!

A quick reset/recalibration of front facing cameras took care of this issue on my refresh 22.

Thank you for that pmanches54. Seems quick and easy, straightforward. Hopefully the service writer and tech assigned will quickly remedy this. But I won’t take it in for service until GM tells me the heated wheel component is available. While I mostly trust my dealership’s talent I don’t allow them to work on any of my vehicles unless its warrantied. And even then I hesitate. ☹️

Also when my forward collision alert went out I lost my adaptive cruise control. Did you? There wasn’t a bulletin, however the tech diagnosed it himself.

I use the fixed speed cruise control. It would make sense the Adaptive cruise control needs the camera and sensors inputs.
The first 2x times my FCA went out I cleaned the outside of the windshield right above where the rear view mirror is. That got me the FCA back twice… and then it didn’t.

I had the same issue with both forward collision and adaptive cruise control. My dealer had me pull fuses f10 & f11 on the passenger side fuse box for 10 min with the truck off. That has worked for me twice now.
As well, make sure all your collision settings are on in your settings menu.-

Thanks for the tip jonwalter13. I found a thread on the GM-Trucks forum discussing this issue and it only mentioned the F11 fuse. After finding that yesterday I pulled F11 on the passenger side fuse box and waited a minute or two and reinserted it. My FCA system is fully functional again. That article also mentions owners having the FCA go offline again soon after, and I see you mentioned this has worked twice for you. That clearly makes me think there is something deeper going on. Guess we’ll see. I will post back here if that happens.
The F11 fuse is labeled as ‘Video Processing Module/Overhead Control Camera’ in the owners manual. The F10 on the panel is labeled ‘Steering Tilt Uplifter’. Not sure how they are related but GM has 2x the fuses in these builds. The F11 fuse is a 3 pronged fuse and I’d never seen one like that before. Interesting.
