Got a question about the exterior mirrors on a ’19 Tahoe Premier. They are equipped with turn signals and blind spot monitoring. My passenger side mirror works correct for all functions 100% of the time. My drivers side mirror, all adjustment controls work, the blind spot monitoring light works every time; however, the turn signal arrow works only some of the time. I haven’t been able to pinpoint the conditions (hot/cold/wet/dry) that causes the signal to not illuminate on only the drivers mirror. I’m not sure if its wiring or what the cause is. Has this happened to anyone’s Tahoe/Yukon and did you find a fix from the dealer or on your own? Of course, I’m past my bumper2bumper coverage, so I’m on my own and wanted to try here first before having a tech wrestle with it at a high billable rate at the dealership if others have encountered this issue and had a fix. I will go ahead and say, the turn signals work in the front grille and rear lights–it’s just the drivers mirror with the issue. I will also say with confidence that the blind spot light is working correctly (I still look before changing lanes just to be safe), as it regularly illuminates appropriately, including when I am in a double left turn lane–with my left signal on (the mirror should be blinking the yellow arrow), even when the arrow doesn’t light up, the blind spot light still will illuminate when someone comes up on my left to pull up besides me. Thanks in advance!
