My daughter has a 2018 Chevy Traverse Redline and her passenger rear tail lamp was collecting moisture. Since it’s LED we tried to let it dry so as not to burn out. It collected moisture once again and burned out and it is a sealed unit. The redline tail lamp is different from the standard traverse tail lamp and has been on National backorder. My daughter is now driving an unsafe vehicle since she has no turn signal or brake light. We have called just about every dealer we could find that might have a passenger tail lamp in stock. No such luck, she even went to the local dealer hoping he could get one, No again. So why is GM allowed to build more cars when they can’t get parts for their fairly new ones yet I could go to an auto parts store and get parts for my 50 year old Chevy!

Call GMC customer service and file a formal complaint. I did it on my 2019 Silverado for some oil coolant lines where the crimps failed. They paid for the repair in full. It was slightly out of warranty.
