Hey Gang,
My front struts are shot and the air suspension is leaking and my 2017 Yukon Denali is bouncing all over (so does my gf in the passenger seat, which I don’t mind).
Anyway, the dealer wants to replace with OEM air suspension (naturally).
But a trusted friend suggested an Arnott Air Suspension Coil Conversion kit and has a private mechanic that says he does this work regularly. OReilly sells a kit (part #c3416).
I figure there are a couple advantages with the conversion kit:
1. cuts the cost in half ($2k installed for conversion kit)
2. risk mitigation – air could go bad in another 5 year
But, I’ve never ridden in a converted Denali and don’t want to lose any more than 10-15% of the ride comfort that comes with air.
Anyone done this to their rig?
What kind of trouble would I be asking for?
Will I ever forgive myself if my gf stops bouncing?
