I have a 2017 Cadillac XT5 that has a noticeable shudder coming from the transmission. After doing some limited research, I learned that the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette is experiencing the same issue. Does anyone have any information on a service bulletin from GM to correct this problem? Thank you.
The XT5 and Corvette are on completely different platforms using entirely different transmission and powertrain configurations, so whatever issues you may be experiencing is probably unrelated to the Corvette.
Does the issue happen when driving? Accelerating, decelerating, or coasting? More info would help!

Hello Mr. Luft. The shudder happens when driving whether in front wheel drive or all wheel drive. It occurs at different speeds, and even when I use cruise control. I have had a Cadillac Mechanic drive with me and he picked up on the problem and he also called it a transmission shudder. He stated that he thought that Cadillac was working on a software upgrade to address the problem, but he didn’t think any corrective action was readily available. This all took place two months ago.
