My new 2017 Silverado with 50 miles on it started ‘chugging’ & surging when cold under load. Dealer reprogrammed the ECM, didn’t change. Reprogrammed again, didn’t help. After 4 times back said it was just the software program “learning” my driving style. After still having issues after 2,000 miles told me “it was just air in the trans”. Had the audacity to tell me to make sure I shifted to R before I shifted to D & it would remove the air, lol.
Always been a Chevy guy. Have a ’67 Corvette Coupe in the garage built from the ground up. it is embarrassing when a Chevy Service Manager tells me my $52,000 truck will fix itself after a few thousands miles of downshifts that sound like 2nd gear is coming through the floor. WTF. Service manager won’t even return my calls or emails now. Looks like that new F250 will be in my driveway soon .Sad.
Anyone know what the real fix is for the 2017 6 speed trans? -
