Does anyone know if GM has started the production yet for this mid-sized suv? I have had an order in for over a month now and the order status has not changed.

I just got email from GMC saying that my order is accepted but no production week is assigned. Actually i thought my order was accepted on day one. So nothing new and no word that the Spring Hill production is actually running. The reply was from the customer assistance center ([email protected]).
Though I don’t have a concrete answer, I should mention some items that might be of interest:
1. Some GMC dealers are already listing the all-new 2017 Acadia as part of their inventory online. However, I don’t know of any that have physically shipped to dealers yet.
2. Pre-production units have already come off the line for the media drive (link below), so the plant is operational… but not sure if that is taking place for full-production units.
GMA’s first drive of the 2017 Acadia:

Production has apparently started. My dealer has two on order for themselves and they looked those two and my one up on the GM Production code system. Their two have numbers beyond 1000 (a Denali at 4000) but mine has not moved yet. It is just over six weeks now since I placed my order.
Lets hope that that bankruptcy company making GM’s upholstery doesn’t shut GM down.
