Just brought home a brand new 2017 Volt. So far, loving it, however after a full charge, the estimated EV range is only 47 miles. While I understand this is just an estimate, everything I see online suggests that it should estimate closer to 50-54 miles. any insight?
The following is reasons why you did not get the 53 miles electric:
Temperature of the day Ideal is 55 to 85 degrees, cooler less than 53 miles electric.
Your driving ability to get the most miles electric. .
Are you using normal, sport, mountain, or hold. all effect miles per electric.
Proper tire pressure 35 PSI
Quick starts are a no no if you want good result.
