Around the 1st part of Dec. my wife had the battery in her 2016 Traverse LTZ get low. We had to jump it to get it started. She thought she had maybe left the interior lights on and the battery got low. Charged it up and it lasted a couple days. We later determined the battery was an 8 year old AC Delco battery. With the battery in the passenger compartment I read up on the best way to change it. Everyone recommended using a memory saver. I got the only one I could find in the area, which was one that connected to the obd2 port. Went ahead and changed the battery. About a week later, went to use MyChevrolet app and it would not connect. Called onstar and after a couple days of back and forth the recommended taking it to the dealer. They diagnosed that nothing was wrong with onstar even though Onstar could not download any updates. The voice part would work but not the data side. Unable to connect using my iPhone app. All fuses seem good and no problems with the vehicle. Decided to see if there were any codes and my code reader would not connect. There was power to pin 16 and good ground on 4 & 5 but could not connect with the ecm. I’ve tried everything I can think of but no luck. Many one have any suggestions. Thanks in advance. Dave

I’d take it back and tell them there is something wrong

Took the vehicle to a mechanic and he was able to us his code reader. There were no codes present so it seems that I just can’t connect to Onstar using cellular service. I wondering if we can delete and then reinstall the programming on the Onstar module. Any ideas. Dealer keeps saying there’s nothing wrong.
