I have a 2016 Yukon Denali with the Intellilink system. After suffering through multiple crashes, reboots, and freezes with using my iPod classic, I decided to try using a USB drive instead. It works; however, the system sees “two” files for everyone I download – it can play one, and can’t play the other. Does anyone know why the system is seeing two files, and is there a way to fix that? For instance, I formatted a USB drive and downloaded one song to it. Why I plug it into interlink, it sees two files. One it can play, and one it can’t
I haven’t seen this before, but let’s see if I can help.
First: how are you getting the music files loaded on to the USB drive? Drag-and-drop from a PC/Mac using a file browser or something like iTunes?
Second: what format are the files in and what format is the USB drive?
