I took my 2016 Camaro 2SS into the dealership on 10.31.2022. because a light came on; “LOW OIL PRESSURE – TURN ENGINE OFF”. They told me it would take 10 days to look at, but they called me today and said a quote was sent. They want $5,750 to replace an oil pump. The car has only 65k miles. Who is at fault? The oil level is fine. I’ve already paid $118 to have it towed to the dealership. I work 80 hrs. a week and don’t have that kind of money lying around. My mechanic closed his shop due to Covid.
