There are 3 USB ports in my car. My iPod nano 4 rarely works in any of them, and when it does the artist and selection never changes, regardless of what’s playing. It should be noted that the same iPod and same cable were connected to USB ports in the following rental cars while awaiting my Corvette: Sentra, Altima, Cruz and one more. The ipod was connected for 30 consecutive days in each car. Every time I started the car the ipod picked up where it left off, and the title and artists changed accordingly. I’m assuming the 2014/5 Chevy Cruz MyLink system is the same as the new Corvette… Is this an easy dealer fix?
@jb193 the MyLink systems are different in the Cruze and Corvette. Outside of the name, they have very few things in common.
What format are the files on the iPod? MP3, AAC, WAV, etc?
2015 Sierra, I have the same problem. Haven’t found solution. MP3 format. I have used this iPod for years with other factory radios and aftermarket with no problems. Has to be a problem with the MyLink, please provide a solution. Great truck but I need my tunes..
Thanks, Chris. Surprising that the systems are so different. Format is MP3.
No, it is not surprising.
