I’ve brought this up on another cite (GM Truck Forum) and the comments so far have been mixed but probably close to 70% are in agreement with me. Don’t get me wrong, I love this truck. In year 2014, I for one expect better lighting on such a nice package.
But what don’t you like about them specifically?
Chris, I feel they’re too focused and do not provide sufficient side-road coverage for all driving situations. I imagine this is the nature of projectors?
Projectors are for movie theaters not for headlights as on the 2014 Sierra’s, they flat suck. Research the net you see all kinds of topics.
@GT I don’t know man. I drove a 2014 Sierra for a month straight and liked the lights and the way the illuminated the road.
Regarding projectors: there is a reason the entire auto industry is moving towards these kinds of lights or LEDs. That’s because they truly provide a better lighting experience.
What kind of side road coverage were you expecting to have? Maybe I’m not don’t understanding you.
