Why won’t Chevy release kit so that people can add the LED lamps to LT and LS trim levels. I purchased 14 impala 2LT last year and got it well equipped with all options but push start and Nav as I don’t use Navigation that often. I paid top dollar as I bought it within first few days of release and traded 13 Malibu Eco premium as it was too small for what I needed it for. I would think by now a kit would come out as lets face it a car at that price point with no fog lamp or LED add on options is crappy when you buy so may cars at lower price points with LEDs or fog lamp standard.
Any help????????????????
I have seen forums with people buying lights on GM site so getting GM parts and dealers putting them on, but I can’t find dealer to do it ???????
Because it takes a whole lot more than just adding a light kit.
Yes, there is a whole different wiring harness that is needed when that option is added. Why didn’t you just buy the model that was equipped the way you want it? I know it costs more but you already took a hit on trading in a 13 Malibu for a 14 Impala. You COULD do it but the wiring required would be all GHETTO!
